When I was in NYC studying English, I had to write many essays almost one essay per week. Frankly, I really hated writing essays on that time.
After coming back to Taiwan, I found that the most helpful skill to me is the ability of writing essay.
The following is one of my essay which was written when I was in 111 level and the topic is so interesting.
Why I want a Husband.
I am a late twenty year-old woman. Most of my female friends and colleagues are married. In my society, most women are married before thirty. Although I really don’t hurry to get married, I still need a husband afterward. I will tell you the reason why I want a husband.
In my definition of “Husband” is multi-characteristic. First of all, a husband has to be a family for me. I want my husband to take good care of me, our children and our parents. He must fully understand his responsibility for our family. He doesn’t have to earn more money than me but he should have at least a stable job. The second, a husband has to be a roommate for me. We share the house working appropriately. I’m not that kind of typical woman so that I don’t like to do some dirty cleaning works which are necessary in our daily lives. It doesn’t mean that I’m refused to do that. Instead of not doing housekeeping, I prefer doing together. I think that it’s the way, not only one, to improve our relationship.
The third reason which is very important why I want a husband is that he has to be a lover for me. A husband must be very excellent at satisfying me both mentally and physically. I want our relationship to be passionate continually and he is infatuation for me. The last and most important reason for me is that he has to be a soulmate for me. I don’t believe that somewhere out there is a Mr. Right waiting for me. There are no perfectly suitable two people in the world if they never try to know each other. Well-communicated is the key to become soulmate. We can share evrything with each other like feelings, work, point of view, etc. We can develope the same interests and habits which can do together. I want my husband can become the first person who I want to talk with when something happen. He will be my side and support me no matter good or bad. What I want is we can become life’s necessary to each other.
It seems too hard to find such a wonderful husband for me. But I’m not saying to reach the goal in one step. Knowing each other well is the process to create a suitable husband. When the process finishes successfully, I will get married. That’s why I want a husband.
